Sentinel Firing Centers found in arc raiders items for sale on robotic snipers

Sentinels can be very rare in Arc Raiders. Sniper turrets mounted on certain buildings draw a smear on nearby players, before dealing massive damage. Sentinels drop Sentinel Firing Cores which are needed for Gunsmith Table upgrades. Below I'll describe where to find Sentinels' locations on different maps, as well an alternative way to get the Firing Cors.

Sentinels appear randomly and very rarely in Arc Raiders. They always spawn outdoors on high spots with long visibility lines so they can attack people at a range. Night Raids have a higher rate of spawning, and they can be found at the following spots:

The Breach of the Dam

Buried city: Town Hall

Spaceport - Departure Building

The Blue Gate at Pilgrims Peak

You will know that there is a Sentinel nearby if you see the laser sight sweep over the area. If a Sentinel spots you, its laser will focus and you have a few seconds to get behind cover. You can use cover to reduce the distance between you and the Sentinel so that you can shoot it. If you can get closer, they have less health than other rare enemies.

Sentinel Firing Corses are found, naturally, on Sentinels. This is usually one core for each Sentinel. Arc Couriers (the white, saucer-shaped, objects that can be opened and are marked by smoke) also drop them in a very small amount. It is absolutely worth prying every courier open you see.

Il Toro: Uncommon, Shotgun, Shotgun Ammo

Il Toro is a powerful weapon, but it's spread and power are balanced out by the slow fire rate and short range. The Il Toro is at its best on maps that are small, like Stella Montis. But in Spaceport, or in the Dam Battlegrounds you can only use it if you manage to find your way inside buildings. It is possible to ambush a player and win by using an Il Toro headshot.

Arpeggio: Uncommon, Assault Rifle, Medium Ammo

Meh? Arpeggio is an unremarkable weapon that uses bursts to deal average damage. The Arpeggio is a gun that's better suited for outdoor use. Arpeggio's PvE performance is lacking, and this is especially true when it comes down to the end result.

Venator: Rare, Pistol, Medium Ammo

The best gun of the game used to come from this weapon, but patch updates have taken a bit of its shine. With its pinpoint control it is good for fighting both other Raiders as well as the lighter Arc Forces. However, it is louder than any other pistol and consumes more ammo.

Torrente: Rare, LMG, Medium Ammo

This LMG can be a challenge to use against other players because it is slow and inaccurate. The initial damage you do will be massive if your attack is quick. But, this thing eats ammunition like water.

Vulcano: Epic, Shotgun, Shotgun Ammo

The Vulcano shotgun is not much better than Il Toro. It also has similar problems. The Vulcano has a short range, low fire rate, and cannot break armor.

Bobcat Epic, SMG and Light Ammo

The Bobcat's performance is not as good as the Kettle, or Stitcher. This is unfortunate, considering how difficult it is to make. You'll want to add some attachments that can reduce the recoil so that you can fire it with control.

Bettina Epic: Assault Rifle & Heavy Ammo

This AR is designed for PvE fighting against Arc's larger minions. Heavy Ammo will be needed to keep this AR running.

Jupiter: Epic Sniper Rifle Energy Clips

The best Sniper Rifle of the game is built using a Queen Reactor. So it should really be better. It is strong in PvE and can be used to take down distant Arc opponents with its powerful, armor-breaking shot, but is too slow for agile players. You can use this if your goal is to hunt Bastions and Rocketeers.

Rattler: Common, Assault Rifle, Medium Ammo

Rattlers, despite being cheaply made and barely worth the cost, lack power and are not suitable for many combat situations except those involving Hornets or Wasps. It has a decent armor penetration. However, it is not a good weapon for early game play.

Osprey: Rare, Sniper Rifle, Medium Ammo

While long range combat may be nice in theory for some players, the Osprey does not meet their needs. Arc enemies will be hard to kill with the average armor penetration of this aircraft, and players can't be killed as easily because they are too evasive. The only use for it is to provide cover fire or to make enemies more vulnerable from stealth.

Hullcracker Epic, Special, Launcher ammo

The patches have rendered a weapon that was once very powerful far less effective. This grenade weapon-like weapon still does a good job at peeling off armor from enemies, such as those in the Arc Raiders Bastions. Unfortunately, it is not very accurate, and will struggle to strike flying foes.

Hairpin: Common, Pistol, Light Ammo

Even in the description, it says "tricky to use" which isn't something you need from a firearm. This pistol with an integrated silencer is simply too weak for you to worry about anyone or anything who can threaten your life. Any other weapon would do. You can still use the gun as it was intended for headshots and sneak attacks before switching over to a more powerful weapon for actual combat.

These weapons are designed for fighting other Arc Raiders' players. Not that we would suggest anything so horrific.

Kettle

Anvil

Stitcher

These guns can quickly draw and shred enemies, particularly in close quarters combat where the majority of players will be able to see eachother.
