Twitter launches real-time data platform about the Rio 2016

Twitter officially launched this Monday, July 25, the first real-time public information tool used in a major event, such as the Rio 2016 Olympics. The objective of the initiative is to indicate which brands have achieved success with actions marketing related to the Olympic Games, without sharing confidential information.

The social network Phone Number List is already gathering important data and information from Twitter posts in Brazil so that brands and agencies can identify opportunities for formulating strategies and actions during the event. The company will also publish special content on Twitter channels aimed at advertisers on the @TwitterAdsBr profile and on the Twitter Ads Brasil blog.

LiveInsights intends to translate platform data as numbers and information divided into the following: state, sports and athletes ; highlights about brands with high engagement on Twitter during the Olympics; and lists including the best Moments, users who are receiving the most engagement, and tweets with the most retweets.

The Twitter Ads Brasil blog will show which brands have achieved great success in actions related to the Olympic Games, evaluating content, execution, engagement and results.

#LiveInsights was created by Twitter's Sales Marketing team in partnership with Remix, a content agency, and Flowics, a Twitter-certified tool that moderates and displays social media content relevant to brands and agencies in real time.
