3 – Create a firewall for the internet connection

4 – Download operating system and application updates as soon as they become available

5 – Back up all important information and data.
The loss of certain data can put a company out of business. Know which ones are essential and make an automatic backup, preferably daily.
6 – Control physical access to computers and network components
The security options of operating systems, with passwords and data protection, should be used, especially on laptops, whose theft is more common. Also, make sure that the notebook is secured with a specific padlock when no one is around.
7 – Make Wi-Fi networks more secure
