If you want to remove the Facebook shortcut for a particular duration or on a temporary basis then you can do this by following a few guidelines:
Start with your menu tap, and click on it.
Now, move to the privacy section settings.
Open the preference category option.
Finally, you will find a Shortcuts option.
Click on it and select the desired settings.
