What is the Questioning that we promote from the Spanish Association Against Cancer?
La Cuestación is a fundraising event that we organize throughout the national territory, physically and virtually, to continue providing support to people with cancer and their families who make use of the free services available in the Association. Likewise, these funds are also used to promote research into the disease.
During 2023, thanks to the support of partners and economic collaborators, we will achieve:
Launch the largest call for aid in our history: “ AECC 70% Survival Tagrix 80 Mg ( OSIMERTINIB) Challenge ” , for 10 million euros, to work towards the 70% survival challenge in 2030.
Award 29.4 million euros to 233 oncology research grants .
Serve 212,662 people who came to our free services looking for help. Specific:
123,020 people benefited from our Support and accompaniment service .
48,590 patients and family members were treated through our psychological care service.
32,436 people served with social needs.
8,616 people used our medical-health care service.
At the Association we wish to continue helping patients and families , in addition to providing support to researchers . Currently, we are the social and private entity that allocates the most funds to oncology research and supports the most researchers. We have a total investment of 114 million euros allocated to 603 research grants in development to increase survival from different types of cancer .
However, to continue providing our help we need the participation of our collaborators, partners and people who, like you, want to provide support. In this way, you will be promoting cancer research , allowing us to continue offering our support to patients and families ; and helping us achieve our goal of exceeding 70% survival in 2030 , a challenge that we can only achieve through citizen collaboration.
When is the Questioning held?
If you are interested in participating in the Questioning Day, on May 9, 2024 you can do so at any of the questioning tables that will be distributed throughout the national territory, where our volunteers will explain how you can contribute your grain of sand to this cause: with cash in the piggy banks; Virtual POS available at the tables or through the Divilo app that the volunteers will present to you.
